As our waste continues to expand at an ever-increasing rate, we need to research a variety of recycled materials as a resource for construction. A clever solution is to build the walls of the house using waxy corrugated cardboard. Something is hard to recycle, but it dug out might be a great building curtain wall. A small team at Auburn University seeks to demonstrate the feasibility of materials as a building product by creating a functional small building.
You will get corrugated cardboard called strong and lightweight materials. You have a box and then wax, it is resistant to chemicals and water – but unfortunately it is recycled and thrown into the landfill. Since thousands of materials are thrown into landfills, why not recycle them for use as building materials?
