The Canadian Environmental Consultant may have just developed a carbon storage method for carbon detection that can reduce global carbon emissions by 1% per year. This new method allows carbon dioxide to accelerate into concrete curing, accelerate the curing process, and store carbon dioxide at the same time. This method is only suitable for precast concrete, but still has the potential to have a huge impact on the world.
The new method, also known as concrete carbonation, is actually a natural, specific method that has not been considered economic until now. The carbon sensing solution says it has developed a faster way to store more carbon dioxide in concrete, using off-the-shelf technology that can dramatically reduce energy. They also claim that concrete will be more durable, more resistant to shrinkage and cracking, and less permeable.
