Family home inspired by pine cone garden

Designed by a 2XJ architectural firm for a young family, the Lithuanian house was built in the woodland on the Nemunas River, and the building was inspired by the pine cone garden. The internal layout is divided into two parts – one for relaxation and the other for life.

The main living area has a kitchen, dining room and living room, and the double high ceilings make the living room feel spacious. The walls and ceiling surfaces above are covered with shingles to form a pine cone that brings a little natural interior.

Bold color choices throughout, including custom artwork by DominykasGuta as and Paulius Maka as.

Prague Apartments redefine the charm and timeless beauty

The interior design studio OOOOX has provided us with many cool projects over the years, and their projects have not been disappointing. We are talking about an apartment in Prague, Czech Republic, which was completed in 2017. The apartment is a perfect blend of modern and historic design details, and its reconstruction brings many simple yet very fascinating details. We like the comfort and grandeur of this apartment, the simplicity and sophistication of the fact that the exposed concrete ceiling and the sculptural hanging staircase are placed in the same room, with the enchanting crystal chandeliers.

The minimalist materials and colours of the apartment are complemented by a variety of different textures that complement the interior to create a warm and cozy atmosphere. In the social area, the living room unit covers the entire wall, adding warmth to the space, and combining the stylish sofa with the comfortable window seats. Some marble-covered staircases lead to the main staircase, with sculptures and graphic designs.

Sofa designed for public spaces

BuzziSpace is a fun brand that focuses on design challenges, such as a noisy office that will release a smart sofa for the lobby, public spaces and offices this spring. Designed by Alain Gilles, BuzziSpark invites users to relax in a comfortable way. These comfortable forms are made up of high-back privacy screens that help reduce noise.

You can hide in the corner to enjoy privacy and quiet time, while the other person does the same thing, but in the opposite direction. If you are willing to meet a new friend, you can talk to them. If two people want a private location to collaborate, it can also be used in an open office.

The tall screen also reduces visual disturbances, so you can focus on the task at hand.

Developed by Samsung Electronics’ Creative Incubation Project Creative Square, the design studio PESI’s Blend Into Space is equipped with everyday items, and the modular electromagnetic induction coil unit is hidden under each surface of the smartphone’s charging.

The concept series expands the wireless charging accessory for containers, clocks, mirrors, speakers and trays, and adds two additional table accessories.

An inspiring space for cooperation in Warsaw

As more and more people work remotely, the space for working together has already emerged in cities around the world. If you have worked at home, then you know how to get the job done and there are a lot of distractions. There is a place to count when there is a need to work. The key is that Warsaw, Poland, has recently joined the revolution with The Brain Embassy. The 3,000 square meter space includes an exciting workspace in one room and one living room.

The design concept is based on the human brain. The human brain has more than 100 billion neurons that receive, process and transmit information through synapses to help us think, act and discover. With this, designers have created a range of innovative spaces that connect human thinking with things like three-dimensional elements inspired by neurons and synapses.

In addition to creating thoughtful collaborative workspaces, the designer’s goal is to design space and hope to build a community of like-minded people.

Conference rooms are inspired by great ideas such as mathematicians, artists, chemists, architects, academics, photographers, and fashion designers.

A huge staircase and stadium seating connect two floors through an open atrium.

The office has mobile meeting rooms that can be scrolled to other spaces for smaller groups or just extra privacy. They also have semi-private small rooms that allow Skype meetings and calls without disturbing the people around them.

Sydney house with industrial elements

The Truss house in Sydney has an industrial past that has led Carterwilliamson Architects to reintegrate some of these elements. The reused material creates a sloping roof with exposed structures. The design is an interesting remodeling of a traditional house with spacious public spaces, living rooms, entranceways and private areas.
Recycled brick walls with warm wood and industrial metal details provide visual impact. The industrial atmosphere is highlighted by concrete floors and corrugated roof panels.
The trusses used at the back of the house are turned over to form a low, sloping roof outline.
The master bedroom maintains privacy with rotating wooden shutters. An inverted truss becomes an opaque window that allows sunlight to enter without affecting privacy.
